Hi All!

In working on various datasets, especially the Savage Rifts data, i noticed that one thing really missing was a tab to display the Racial Abilities or Properties of a race. So, based on my SR tab, I created a generic one to share.

Before the update

After the Update

Human race in Default Setting

Human Race in another setting I'm working on

Please let me know how this works for you and any other comments you might have. I'll be adding a couple of posts to this thread to document the pieces as well to make it easier for folks to use in their own stuff.

Thanks!
TC

Edit: For some reason I can't get my updates.xml to display an entry in the updates mechanism. I've included a zip file of the RacialTab.hl file temporarily. Unzip this and import it into HL and should be good.
Attached Files
File Type: zip RacialTab.zip (5.9 KB, 9 views)

I'm just blown away at the use of .hl file for modifying the UI. That is just totally cool.

50 Fathoms, Deadlands: Hell On Earth, Deadlands: Noir, East Texas University, Necessary Evil (requires Super Powers Companion), Pirates of the Spanish Main, Space 1889 (original file by Erich), Tour of Darkness, Weird War II, Weird Wars: Rome
Coming Eventually
Evernight (LWD has completed their review but I have some fixes to make first... although Pinnacle mentioned this might get an overhaul to SWADE so I may just wait for that first. If you just HAVE to have this now, though, just PM me)

Hey Caped Crusader a tab like that could be used for a custom race builder.

True, but this also gives a bit more flexibility. Instead of an ‘edge’ to allow selection of a set of edges, the expression of the type of edges to select from can be added to the racial helper and have the selection be made on the racial tab.
