First of all, the "mere" ability to sync without leaving the main program would be a nice option for me since I am a save-aholic. Working on documents and maps I had a few crashes over the years, therefore I save regularly while still working on them. And since my current machine is quite fragile, I fear a complete crash could destroy my offline database before I was able to sync.
Secondly, yes I put my battle maps and even road maps into my VTT (Map Tools) before we play. However "real" live syncing or at least an easy option to use the player view online would be extremely usefull for us. |

I also would love a live-sync option. I am running one intrigue-heavy campaign, and both of my campaigns are very player-directed. I, as the GM, hand out tons of rumors and maps and then let the players decide where they want to go. Very little, "You meet in a bar and are hired to...." stuff.
Because of this, being able to reveal things "on-the-fly" would be very useful, as I rarely know from week to week, just what my players plan to do, where they plan to go, or who they may meet. And if a particular rumor they hear becomes extremely relevant later in the evening, having the ability for them to access their own revealed info and see just what was revealed would be a great help. Another great help, would be the individual reveals. Revealing to Simon what he learns at the Blacksmith, and Espen what he learns from from his Thief contacts...but not allowing the other to know what each has learned. Thanks if you consider working on these anytime in the near future. Oh, and shared Player Notes & the calendar of course - those would be wonderful! |

Individual reveal is - if not in the works - then somewhere down the assembly line.
Live sync: A bit more unclear on this one, but it hasn't been ruled out. Whether the web client will address this remains to be seen, but I honestly doubt it. From a business point of view it would make sense to limit that feature to RW editions that the players would have to buy, thus earning some money on that. At least as per my understanding. Calendar as a must in the foreseeable future goes without saying, of course :-) The ability to share selected pieces of player notes (at least with the GM) would be very nice. Vargr Deputy Calendar Champion Legend has it, that the Tarrasque is a huge fighting beast, perpetually hungry. Sleet entered History when he managed to get on the back of a Tarrasque only to be ridden out of History shortly after. Using Realm Works, Worldographer (Hexographer 2), LibreOffice, Daz3D Studio, pen & paper for the realm World of Temeon and the system LEFD - both homebrewed. |
