I believe the answer to this is that is cannot be done, but is there a way to use a mechanic to automatically bootstrap a thing to all of a hero's picks of a certain type?

For example, lets say I have a thing xxMyThing that I want every manufactured weapon to have. Is there a way via a mechanic (or other mechanism) to automatically have xxMyThing be added to every manufactured weapon when the hero picks it? Or is this something that needs to be handled at the component level?

Does it need the thing boostrapped or just the effect?

I am not quite sure. I am trying to dynamically assign weapon powers via a class feature/feat/racial ability. The rub is that the weapon powers are limited by their effective cost not by specific powers. I think I mostly have a way to do it, I just cannot get the scripts on the powers to run properly.
