Hello everyone,
I was just wondering if a) Planetary Empires has already been coded/added to the rules and I'm just plain blind... b) it has not and someone is working on it c) it has not and no one has any plans for working on it. |

Since AB is strictly a roster building program, I don't think Planetary Empires really factors in at all. As PE is a campaign building set, as opposed to an alternative mission type for WH40k. While you could certainly build lists to use within PE campaigns, there aren't any unusual rules to set up for it that AB would need (any adjustments to maximum points and the like can be handled through normal means).

I was thinking from the perspective of the mercenary units. The only way I've found to do it is to enable the APOC ruleset, which then suspends the force organization requirements.

As DthShdw says, PE is a campaign system and so doesn't itself have army building - it's just a framework of rules and a set of tiles to build a map and run a campaign.
If there are roster changes for specific scenarios then it may be something that could be put in, but I've never seen the rules and none of the AB40k maintainers have mentioned that PE has specific FO charts. So the short answer is (c) Dan AB40k Site Admin http://www.ab40k.org - home of the AB40k maintainers |

I'm not aware of rules for Mercenary units....
If you can keep your head while all about you are loosing their's, then you have probably completely misunderstood the situation. WFB Armies: High Elves (4,500), Orcs & Goblins (6,000) and Daemons of Chaos (6,000) 40K Armies: Ultramarines (6,500), Blood Angels (7,000), Dark Angels (4,000), Imperial Guard (3,500), Orks (4,500), Tyranids (4,000), Dark Eldar (2,500) and Tau Empire (2,500) |
