OK. I think I've got it now. What I now want to understand is how new
players manage to wrap their heads around all the convolutions I'm getting
a crash course in. Yikes!

FYI, I just released the V5.2 update to L5R that should fix all the
reported problems, except for missing reprints and promos. Let me know if
there are still issues to be addressed.

Thanks, Rob

Arrgghh!!!

My timing is impeccable. Impeccably bad. :-)

Not even one hour after releasing the V5.2 update to the L5R files, I have
now received a Diamond update from AEG. So I'll be releasing another L5R
update reasonably soon with the latest Diamond stuff.

Let me know what errors you uncover in the V5.2 files and I'll strive to
get them fixed in the update that includes the new Diamond stuff.

Thanks, Rob

For the record, I have read the discussion between Rob and Jimmy.
I'm
praying for the continued integrety of Rob's skull.

[Finds scan of AOD version of Shashakar on L5Rcards.com]

Holy $#!+, he's right.

Rob gets off the hook by the ignorance clause. Not because he
doesn't
know L5R's experience rules (L5R rules being to CCG as Latin is to
modern languages), but because someone (its possible its an artifact)
didn't look at the card's own errata *in CV*:

Notes/Errata/Clarifications:
Errata - Counts as the Naga Shugenja for purposes of being
Experienced, not Uniqueness.

Does the text make more sense now that we swap those two words?

AEG likes to tell us the cards aren't trying to fool us. The
obviously hadn't thought of times when the screw up the card.

Since I'm having trouble connecting to the server, this may have
artifact may have already been corrected. Unfortunately for Rob,
it's
another experienced personality.
