The sad part is that the open-source and free GCS already outclasses SJ Games' GCA for most uses (as well as being more stable), and its last release was Jan 2011.

GCS has had a supposed new version "in progress" for years now, but I've as of yet never seen any real indication that it will ever actually happen, and the last data update to GCS is almost a year old at this point.

I am surprised there isn't Legend of the 5 Rings (L5R) already! It's very highly rated and I would love to use Hero Lab with my Phoenix Character!

I don't see any ICE (Iron Crown Enterprises) games listed. They are HARP (Fantasy and SF), Rolemaster (new ed currently in beta), and a few others. There is another game I may start playing called Victoriana (d6 system). I just downloaded Hero Lab and have not been able to figure out how to add a new system as of yet (I created a new thread under the authoring kit thread). Are there any tutorials for adding games with different stats and other things that aren't yet supported by Hero Lab? I really need something like this now, otherwise there would be no reason for me to have purchased Hero Lab and may have to ask for a refund.

Just in case you weren't aware, ICE has a program for HARP and HARPSF and a version for Rolemaster in the works (or out I don't follow RM much these days).

Are you saying ICE is developing something for Hero Lab? This would be the first I have heard of it. I know they have some other things in the works using other programs for Rolemaster but nothing associated with Hero Lab or HARP. They do have autoharp which doesn't work very well and the actual character sheet kind sucks IMHO. It's not dynamic enough for me. It would be nice if one could edit the program to include their own character sheet layout or even change things around like add new skills and so on. They should have included a sheet that at least looks like the original. Just saying.

No I was referring to AutoHarp. Not the best CG program ever written but not the worst either. They have improved it since its initial release but a Hero Lab version would be much nicer. It does beat doing it by hand though.

IMHO Autoharp isn't worth the price one pays for it. Yeah the base program is free but all the important add-ons cost from $10 to $20 a piece. Which is expensive for a single game and can add up to a lot more over time. If you wanted all the latest character info for HARP you would have to spend a total of $40 so far (three products). And again that is for a single game. Plus you can't change or add any new skills outside the ones in the updates. So not worth it in the least.
As far as doing it by hand, I think that would be better than autoHarp IMHO.

How about 13th Age? It's getting more popular by the day, I think...
