Subject: 2.0d Stack dumps

Ever since I upgraded from 2.0b to 2.0d I get stack dumps trying to
run AB. Here are the details provided by 98se.

ARMYBLDR caused an invalid page fault in

Granted it's an old laptop with a whopping 32mb of ram, but....

Any ideas? PS. it's the CD version.

This may have been asked before...
Is there any way to, when an option is selected for a particular
unit, that option is then automatically made available and selected
for every other unit in the army?

It's a long shot I know :-)

Russell.

Nope.

Sorry

What are you trying to do? The "tloc" attribute and / or the -istype
qualifier may be of some help to you...

For Crucible, the Thane Druid can take a spell which costs x points
per model. If taken, it must be taken (and costed) for every model in
the army.

Ideas?

Russell.

Hi Colen

Your new Void files are wrong.

Under the Viridians a you have a Shock Marine Sarg. taking a Gauss Rifle he
infact should have a Negatron Shield and a Vibro Scythe.

Army Builder already keeps track of the number of models in the army. I
would guess that it's a variable kept somewhere. Just use that. Having
said that, I don't have any more of a idea.

There's no "nice" way to do this... the only way I can think of is have
an option that's always available to every unit, but throws up
validation errors when you take invalid combinations (i.e., it must be
all or nothing, and a Thane Druid must be required). Would that be
adequate?

Dammit. Any other mistakes before I release another update?

Yuck. I had already thought of that and hoped there was another way.
Hopefully Rob will have a scathingly brilliant idea :-) Rob?
(he says hopefully :-)

Thanks,

Rob:

Have you seen volume 1? (Ninja Smurfette: Dance of the Utensils)

Might change you're mind on whether you're interested.

Ok, so does this now mean a that the archive I have for the datafiles will
now be no longer accessible from Rob's site?

If so, let me know, because I get about 1000 hits a week and will need to
either delete the whole site now since you will make it redundant, or figure
out how to maintain the link.

BTW...thanks for the heads up about the datafiles...waste of my time
updating my webpages if you are the only source now for the datafiles
now...*sigh*

Gene
