Well, there is no place to specifically add bonuses to Common Knowledge rolls in Hero Lab, so that part isn't particularly relevant. In essence what you're really need is something like the Languages rule, but for Defining Interests instead. In fact since they are exactly the same stats wise, I'd say just use the Languages rule and put in the area of interest instead of a Language there. Of course if you are also using the Languages rule that does leave you a bit short of places... At any rate I think implementing that might require a modification to the core files and not something that could be done in a data file. I could be wrong, though!

I sent a PM to TatteredKing. My wife is going to be running a Realms of Cthulhu game at some upcoming conventions and since we have Hero Lab, if I could get the file for ROC, I'd be greatly appreciative.
