What about a Kick Starter program for it on Android? I'd pay...

Definitely for this. Recently got a Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE and would love to use it more for gaming.

I also cast my vote to an android app of army builder. If the funds are an issue I'm certain that users wouldn't have any problems donating a bit of money to make it happen.
I reckon the majority of the people who're using these applications are middleaged males with decent jobs whom are more than willing to part with a small share of their money to get their hands on an application for tablets/smartphones which'll make their hobby experience more fulfilling and easier. Only in this thread people have said that they'd buy a tablet solely for using this app and I do believe them. If you'd set up either a kickstarter and just a small notification window in the PC version with a donation button I'm sure you'd get more than enough funds for any OS port you'd ever want to make. |

Chiming in for another Android vote. I'd kick-in on a kick-start for sure.

Thank you for everyone's feedback! We know there is an incredibly high demand for an Android application for Army Builder.
The reason that we are able to come out with an Army Builder roster view app for iPad so quickly is because the code was very similar to the Hero Lab portfolio app that was released a few months ago. As some people do have iPads, it made sense to get that app out since we had the framework already. After the Army Builder app is released for iPad, we will be taking a look at other platforms to try to tackle, whether that is an app for Android or a web app that can be used on any device. When we have news, it will be released in the newsletter. |
