I got it to work on the second try. But it happens with the datafiles too, and there's only the one source for them.

I've been having problems downloading things from within Cardvault. I was hoping it would go away when I finally got 1.1a to dl right, but it just happened again when trying to dl 1.1b. The problem seems to come from when I'm doing anything else at all over the internet. If I'm browsing, checking my mail, ANYTHING while CV is downloading something, I get an error when its finished dling. For the updates, it exited out of CV to install like normal, but then an error message pops up say unexpected file size and that my file size is 13--whatever when its supposed to be 17-whatever. Then when dling datafiles and doing something else, it will completely finish dling and ask if I want to import them now, I say yes, and then it gives me an error that the files must be corrupted and to try again. I may not be using exact terms here, so I hope you understand. Well, if I exit out of everything else I'm doing online and then re-dl the update of files, everything works fine. I'm no! > t sure what the problem is, and I was wondering if you've encountered it before. I have dial-up and dling everything a couple times until it works right is VERY time consuming. > > > --Kyle Turner > emperor799@earthlink.net > > > "You're out of your mind!" > "That's between me and my mind" -- Firefly > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > > > > To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: > cardvault-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com > > > > Your use of Yahoo! Yes, they are. I'm a moderator of a Star Wars yahoo group, and things are in a constant state of flux. That said, isn't it that only some of the datafiles come from the group, while most of the datafiles and the updates and such all come form the lone wolf server? At any rate, I've been busy, and I'll test out some things tomorrow and see if I can track down a cause. Has this been happening to you too?
