There's a trick you can use to do all the fixup automatically...
1. In Manage Categories, select the category you have extended with new snippet types. 2. Clone the category to a new name via the Options menu. 3. Move all topics over to the new category via the Options menu. 4. Select the cloned category. 5. Move all topics back to the original category via the Options menu. 6. Delete the cloned category that you no longer need. When you move the topics between categories, they are automatically fixed up to include the sections and snippet types that exist within the new category. So this trick achieves your goal much easier than having to do it one at a time. Yes, it's already on the todo list to accomplish this without all the extra hoop jumping. |
