Is the concept of reading totally alien to you? What about searching?
Not only is there a sticky thread that explains how files are released, someone else already asked this question last week.

ab40k.org is the group that does the 40k files.
Be sure to check out their site for updates. It takes a month or so for them to create a file for a new codex.

Hey My Rose, anything helpful to offer or just wise ass comments?
See I have searched, and read, and read some more, and the best I can do is guess that it is not out yet even though the codex has been out for more than a month, making his question more than valid. No one answered the post last week any better than this one, they just weren't as nasty about it and the codex has been out long enough that the explanation on how updates are released is useless.

First, since you missed it the appropriate sticky thread is third from the top of this very forum, here. I suggest you read it and maybe try following the link it contains and asking the people who actually make the files.

Second, you're hilarious; out for more than a month? Or are you living in the future where it's December 6th already? If so can you post next week's lottery numbers? I bet that would speed things up for you.

See, I can be helpful and a wise-ass.

P.S. Five days after the release did not make "his question more than valid" then nor does you repeating it a week and a half before the earliest possible release date make it any more so now.

Official release of the DE codex was 6th November. It's now the 1st December, so how can you claim that it's already been out for more than a month??? You posted a week ago, less than 3 weeks after the codex release date.

There is a minimum 1 month delay from GW codex release date to the AB40k file that will include the new DE codex. However, it could be longer than this - release times are based on the maintainers getting the codex, figuring out the rules, creating the AB files, having them run through the test team, compiling, retesting, and a few more steps. This can sometimes delay releases a little, but it does mean that the files go out with much fewer bugs than if they were just dumped out on the 1 month deadline.

And as with all things AB40k related, the AB40k.org site is the place to check for updates.
