I work on squats files (40k dwarfes)
Now my problem... Clanguards may be 4-infinite models. Every Model may have one item. How do I do this? thx Mathias ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from this group, email armybuilder-unsubscribe@egroups.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Check out your group's private Chat room -- http://www.egroups.com/ChatPage?list...rmybuilder&m=1 |

<x-flowed>Make use of the "rept" attribute for options. There is an example of this
in the tutorial data files within the suicide dwarves. This is how Dwarf Slayers are implemented in WFB, plus how a number of other units are handled for 40K (I can't remember which ones, though). Hope this helps, Rob At 03:42 AM 12/19/99 -0800, you wrote: >I work on squats files (40k dwarfes) > >Now my problem... > >Clanguards may be 4-infinite models. >Every Model may have one item. >How do I do this? > >thx Mathias --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rob Bowes (rob@wolflair.com) (650) 726-9689 Lone Wolf Development www.wolflair.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from this group, email armybuilder-unsubscribe@egroups.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- 20 megs of disk space in your group's Document Vault -- http://www.egroups.com/docvault/armybuilder/?m=1 </x-flowed> |

The Problem is that every model may choose an item, not just one item for the entire squad/unit. I canīt see anything within the rept att that will help me there. Study the warhammer fantasy files for troll slayers or look at the ork 40k for kans where this attribute is used amongst others. When you initially select the unit there will be 5 models (or whatever minimum you set) plus the option to add another model. Keep selecting extra models until you have as many different ones as you need. To avoid having to create a second unit without the rept: option you can use the only: function. Examine the ork.40k, Colen uses it there within one of the units using the skrill option he created and the mapping function of the only: attribute. Hope that helps. One fine day in the middle of the night, Mathias Schreiber

Let the unit as a whole have 1 item. Say that you want 2 models with item X, 3 with Y and 1 with Z; create a unit, click on the rept'd option twice, and make the units have 2, 3 and 1 models respectively. Then you can give item X to the first unit, item Y to the second unit and item Z to the third. -- Colen 'Not Colin' McAlister | License to Skrill Email: demandred@skrill.org | Visit http://www.skrill.org/ today! -----------------------------+------------------------------------ "Dovie'andi se tovya sagain" - Robert Jordan's Wheel Of Time ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from this group, email armybuilder-unsubscribe@egroups.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Want to send money instantly to anyone, anywhere, anytime?
