Do I need to purchase Hero Labs Online if I already have Hero Labs to use 2.0 or Starfinder?
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
Yes, if you want to use HLO (beyond what the Demo lets you do) then you need to purchase it and whichever game systems or other materials you want to use with it. Your desktop Hero Lab purchases have nothing to do with HLO.
I'm only concerned with what's available at the present time. We'll cross that bridge (and learn the toll for doing so) if/when it happens.Well, eventually when (if) games are on both HLC & HLO, the content you've purchased will be available on both.
Hi.
I'm trying to try out the playtest demo, and it's saying I should log in with my current account. I have only HL Classic for pathfinder and it won't let me log in with it. Says my account doesn't exist.
Do I need to create a new account?
How does it work?
Yes, you will need to login with your Realm Works account (if you have one) or create a new account. HLO accounts are not connected to your HLC account. Hope this helps.
From the HLO Product page: "Even better, when Pathfinder 2nd edition for Hero Lab Online goes live you'll be automatically upgraded to the new edition free of charge!"Rob, thanks for the explanation. I hadn't noticed the demo mode moniker yet, but only did a little testing over the weekend. If one buys the playtest version, will that carry over to final version? Or will that be another charge? Just wondering for future reference.

Higher level and more complex magic items where skipped to try and get the playtest out for GenCon. They should show up in a future patch here soon.I can't seem to find the Monk Handwraps of mighty fists as a weapon or magic item to purchase. Can someone tell me where to get them or is this feature not yet implemented?
A lot more stuff will be appearing in a release early next week. We considered putting something out tomorrow, but we opted for caution.
