Has anyone created an Adjustment that allows you to add a bonus number of spell preparation slots to a chosen spell level of a chosen class?
Adding the class selection to Custom Expression 1 is easy, using the incrementer to select either the number of slots to add or the level of the spell slots to add is easy, however I have no clue on how to setup custom expression 2 to either chose the level of the spell slots or act as another incrementer to select how many spell slots to give. Casting slots are shared between classes, and memorizations are not split by spell level in 5th ed. Not sure what your aim is?

Basically, I just want to be able to grant bonus preparation slots to a class.
For instance, as a DM I grant the a multi-classed Wizard/Cleric the ability to prepare an extra spell on his wizard class. I need to be able to select between Wizard & Cleric, the level of the spell preparation slot, and, if at all possible, the number of bonus spell preparation slots to grant. So far, it looks like I am limited to 1 spell preparation slot. After I complete this Adjustment, then I'll want to create another Adjustment that grants bonus spell casting slots, but that one SHOULD be easy. <pray> Watch your back, Conserve your ammo, and NEVER cut a deal with a dragon! |

What I don't understand is why you feel the need to specify a spell level for this adjustment? As I understand it, memorization slots are no longer specifically tied to spell levels. For example, if you can memorize 5 spells, and the class has 1st and 2nd level spells, you could memorize 4 2nd and 1 1st, or 5 1st, or 3 and 2, or any other combination you like. Given that, don't you only need to specify class, and the number of extra memorization slots?
