Went and obtained both the d20 & Cheeseweel community files, but couldn't find any thing from the Dragon Magic book. So decided to start learning how to use the editor by implementing it.
Any work done already would be appreciated. Edit: the To-do List
Silverbrow Humans
Aspect of the Dragon
Armor of Scales
Dragonfire AdeptBreath EffectsDiamond Dragon
Adoration of the Frightful
Amethyst Burst
Draconic Invocations
Amulet of Fearsome Might
Aspect of Bahamut

I don't believe there is anything from Dragon Magic yet added. If you wanted to do it, I would love to be able to add it to the community set.

Already hit my first big snag as far as getting this stuff into HL. Figured I'd start with the only real Class in the book, the Dragonfire Adept. Looking through it I got the Breath Weapon, didn't see any problem with the Breath Effects or Invocations.
But the Bonus Feat "Dragontouched" is one big cluster of wyrd, It has skill bonus(which was easy to get done, not even the hp was all that hard), gives you a subtype(that one took me some time to fix up right...), AND (here's the kicker) lets your Character level count as a Sorcerer for the Heritage feats(this has me stumped because of the other 2 books that have such Feats are a part of the community already and was far beyond the initial scope of what I was hoping to get away with). if any of you got Ideas on not having to change all of the Draconic Feats from the other books and only deal with this feat please pass on the information. I'll be working on the rest of the book in the mean time. |

The simple solution is to modify the Heritage feats to allow Dragontouched as a pre-req. We can do this one of two ways. 1) You modify them and provide them at the same time as you provide your data file for Dragon Magic. 2) I modify them when you provide the data file. I don't really care either way, so whatever you're more comfortable with, just let me know. If you go with option 2, you'll have to remind me when the time comes.

Classes are usually among the hardest things in a project - you may want to start somewhere simpler among the data you want to add, so that you can get a better handle on the basics before tackling a class.

@Mathias: I'd already been tinkering with the HL editor for the pathfinder stuff, but found myself to slow to really get anywhere there... Just needed to get a real project going to get the real experience of using it. Never mind that it would require me to implement 1/3 of the book anyway. BTW your resources have been a big help already.
@Sendric: so you think that would be the best answer? mmm... just seems like a weird way of doing a single feat. oh, well. might as well add it to the to do list in my hl file. Last edited by dragongold3; April 24th, 2013 at 03:11 AM. |

Off the top of my head, yes. There might be another way, but I'd have to take a closer look at it. I'm pretty swamped this week and early next week, but I might be able to check it out late next week.

would anyone be intersted if I created a Git repository for this so multiple people could work on the files, test, and add to them?

I have some content for dragon magic I've used for my own games. I'll submit it for the next update. Problem is alot of the stuff is only half finished, just enough that its usable. It much of what I have isn't scripted so, its not quite ready.
