The thing thats really nice about CC3 is some of the quality of the artwork in the addons. You can make really professional looking maps (especially dungeon maps) that look like they belong in a printed module. And im no artist.

Yeah, learning sucks. None of us are learning anything around here. :)
However, it is why neither my roommate nor I ever got anything out of the Campaign Cartographer 2 package he bought forever ago. It had a nice tall learning cliff. I haven't done much world-level mapping in forever; I've been running published things. Once or twice I've put an encounter map together from tiles using a layout program (MultiAd Creator). Most of the maps I've been drawing are arenas for Car Wars; they're all vector art and text, suitable for printing at your preferred scale at your favorite print shop. |
