From a comment made by Zaphod Beebledoc over in the Early Access thread, I would like to request the ability to "group" snippets within a topic. Specifically, I mean the ability to keep all of the grouped snippets adjacent to each other within a category, so that other snippets cannot be mixed in, nor can they be accidentally moved out. While not as effective as a radio button, it should serve the same purpose, and has a broader range of applications. For instance: complex magic items with multiple, independently-identified capabilities: multiple background points on a single theme (a character might have 6-8 snippets covering aspects of their relationship with one NPC, and another 4-5 for a second NPC, etc.).
One implementation might be to add a pointer to a preceding snippet, and when that pointer is set it is not possible to insert anything between the two. This would mean that once a series of snippets have been "grouped", the only way to reorder them or add another snippet to the group would be to first "un-group" them, then "re-group" them after the changes are complete. In this way the first snippet in the group can be placed anywhere within the topic, and the other snippets will follow along behind. |

Other than not being locked from modification, how is this different from what you can do right now with creating a custom sub-section? When you drag the sub-section around, all of the snippets go along. You can have any number of snippets in the sub-section. They will all appear within the context of the sub-section.
