I just finished coding all of the Space 1889 edges and am pretty pleased with things so far. Well except for the Adventuress, I kinda had to brute force that one. Since one of the benefits the Edge gives depends on which companion is chosen (A social boost if the rich companion is chosen), I had to create two different edges to account for this.

Oh well,
On to the weapons...

It's kind of common to occasionally break something out into components like that. I just did that with several Edges for various Fencing Academies in Pirates of the Spanish Main where certain Acadamies allowed certain edges to taken sooner rather than later. Or even like the two half-elf races. I wouldn't worry about that at all.

Congrats on getting that much done!

Just finished all of the weapons.
Although I had to set the weight of all of the gunnery weapons to zero or the hero got stuck up with a -30 or something to the attack if one is added to the character sheet.

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure of the best way to handle that part. I've run into similar in other settings. Even, as another recent post I put up shows, when adding weapons to vehicles. But for carrying some of that kind of stuff, that your character wouldn't actually be "carrying" anyway, I think that is really what that "Dropped to Ground" container on the character profile is all about. If you put items into the "Dropped to Ground" container their weight no long counts against your encumbrance but you might still be able to use it if you were figuring out weight limits on something like a Vehicle (for how many cannons, or something, it could hold.)

You know, I never even considered the dropped to ground container.
Makes a lot of sense though.
Alright, I'm going to add the weights back in and assume that large cannon and such will be put in the dropped to ground container.

Now it's on to equipment.
