I've the Early Release version. When Realm Works is actually released, will it be able to read the information I entered into the Early Release version?
Is there an elegant fail if things don't carry over properly? |

If I might suggest, I think you would be better off asking that question in the Realm Works Early Access Discussion forum.
Lenny Zimmermann Metairie, LA, USA Data files authored (please let me know if you see any issues with any of these if you have/use them): Official (In the downloader) 50 Fathoms, Deadlands: Hell On Earth, Deadlands: Noir, East Texas University, Necessary Evil (requires Super Powers Companion), Pirates of the Spanish Main, Space 1889 (original file by Erich), Tour of Darkness, Weird War II, Weird Wars: Rome Coming Eventually Evernight (LWD has completed their review but I have some fixes to make first... although Pinnacle mentioned this might get an overhaul to SWADE so I may just wait for that first. If you just HAVE to have this now, though, just PM me) |

All data you enter into Realm Works during the Early Access release will be preserved to the best of our ability. This is a Beta release, so nothing is guaranteed, but we have made sure to preserve the data of the Beta team throughout the past 18 months they've been using the product. We don't foresee any issues preserving everyone's data as we move forward, so it's 99.9% likely we'll be able to preserve data fully.
Caveat: If there's a bug we don't know about, it's possible that data could currently be getting saved improperly. If that occurs, we'll preserve everything we can, but pieces of data impacted by the bug could be compromised. Oh, and Lenny is correct. Please post further questions about the Early Access release in the separate forum specifically for that purpose. |
