Another issue for BFG that I can't figure out just yet.
Is there a way to assign a tag to the first unit in a squad? Escort squadrons can consist of 1-6 ships of various types, but all share the same Leadership stat value. Basically, I'm looking for a way to flag the first unit in the squad with a tag to enable the Leadership selection options, and then set the other units in the squad with that leadership stat value. I figure if I can tag the squadron leader, then I can use a stat calc to get the value, and then possibly use the Entity Done global script to assign the value to the other members of the squad. Am I on the right track here? There's currently no way to do this. What you should probably do is give all ships the option to be the leader - which would then enable the leadership selection options, etc. Then write a squad-level rule to make sure that no squad has more than one leader. (That way the leader can be the first, second, ninth, etc unit in the squad if you like.)
