If I wanted to add DF's "Supernatural Powers" abilities to FATE Core, it seems like the best option would be to add them as stunts, and maybe preface each one with "SNP: " or "PWR: " or "SP: " or something like that.

And if I wanted to add DF's templates (Wizard, Lycanthrope, Shapeshifter, etc) to FATE Core, it seems like my only option would be to add them as stunts, maybe prefaced with "TMPL: " or something similar.

Anyone have any better ideas?

That would probably be the best bet from what I can tell.

I may have to do something similar for Tianxia's Kung Fu Forms and Techniques. Buying a Form would give you Two additional 'stunts' which would let you buy the free Techniques.

Currently, the best way to handle Dresden-style templates in Fate Core is as follows:

Set the campaign refresh rate to what the character would get if they didn't have any templates at all. Give the templates refresh costs equal to the refresh rate reduction for that template. Then you'll have to add evalrules to the templates to make sure they take the stunts required by that template.

Right, that's exactly what I'm doing. But as far as what type of object to add the templates as, it seems the only workable option is to add them as a stunt.

Yes, creating them as stunts is the best option for now.
