Noticed an issue with High Elves and didn't see an existing thread about HE bugs (tho I could be blind :P)
Eltharion when riding Stormwing should have a 3+ armor save instead of 4+ as Storming is a Ridden Monster and still applies the usual bonus to saves. Unless of course something is different about Eltharion that I am not aware of??? Heavy Armor - 5+ Helm of Yvresse - 4+ Ridden Monster - 3+ |

also noticed that AB is allowing me to take too many bolt throwers as rare choices (not that I mind), but the 8th ed rules states that only two choices of a single rare unit type-while with AB I can take 5 in a 2k army. So am I correct in the fact, although bogus, that HE players only get two in anything under a 3k game, though a DE player will get more due to the fact that they can do the 2 as 1 rare?
So much for my 10 RBT models =( Last edited by reards; October 4th, 2010 at 08:40 PM. |

No error here. High Elves have the 'Elite Army' rule, which gives them unlimited Special and Rare choices (GW FAQ). So get 'em Bolt Throwers lined up!

I couldnt find that UltraPrime, Can you point me where to look? The FAQ_WarhammerRulebook_2010_v1.pdf didn't have anything about it that I could find... But as has been stated previously, I miss things, so always glad to have things pointed out to me.

High Elves still have the issue with their dragons, they are supposed to count under Hero choices and not Lord. The point value is still being calculated under Lord values.

Not sure what you mean here. When you give a Lord a Dragon, the points cost come out of Lord allowance. The only Hero that can take a Lord is the Dragon Mage, and that works fine.

Specifically, from the High Elf FAQ:

First time seeing the FAQ for the list... So that means that a Prince on a Star Dragon has to go pretty much naked? That's extremely lame... in a standard 2250 list, the Prince and Star Dragon take up 520 of the 562 allowed points, with no other items and equipment.
