since the latest update i'm getting the same validation error message in 2 out of my 3 existing characters (one human, one gnome). It doesn't seem to have anything to do with character age since changing that to higher numbers doesn't help. Same goes for starting level, raising it above 1 doesn't get rid of the message either.
I submitted a bug report, you should too. The more info the devs have, the easier it will be for them to figure out what's going on.
