Was one of the things already suggested ages ago. Not sure why a forum is thought to be easier to maintain than an open list. Maybe a bug tracker is too "official" or I under-estimate the effort necessary to launch a bug tracker (webserver setup, securing it update regularly and also ... you need to start working with it). Yeah not so simple in the end
