Don't submit a new ticket. But if you could reply to the support email from the already-open ticket, that will make sure it gets flagged back onto David's radar. Once you trigger the open ticket again, I'll follow up with David to find out what's going on. It's possible this is something he's already fixed and has forgotten about. <fingers crossed>
