Okay, I found the problem. I was running a beta build (#657) and the data files work with the newer, released version (#661).
(I'm not sure why the App Store app didn't tell me there was an update, but that could be the way the beta tool, TestFlight, is suppose to work.)
After installing 661 on top of 657, I deleted the Community Pack and reinstalled it and everything is fine.
