AB Download Error

It was a temporary hiccup with our hosting provider this morning that was fixed after a few hours. Everything is running smoothly again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

(Reposting my answer from the other thread this was posted in:)

Hi Fantasticmrfox,

We've had a handful of users run into that error, but we have no idea why. It works great for 99.99% of our users, and our certificate is valid and up to date. However, some people get the error regardless. :( I don't know if it's a windows thing, or an ISP thing, or some other issue.

Here's the method I've found for suppressing the error:

- Close Army Builder and open Internet Explorer.
- From the Tools menu, select Internet Options to display the Internet
Options dialog.
- Click on the Advanced tab.
- Scroll down to the Security section.
- Uncheck the Check for server certificate revocation box.
- Click on the OK button.
- Close all Internet Explorer browsers before retrying.

This should let you access the updates for Army Builder appropriately.

I am a mac user and am currently experiencing the same problems, regarding unable to update. I would really appreciate any help that can be offered.

Still globally affecting OS X and Windows 7.

Receiving the certificate revocation error. While the recommendation allows access on Windows, it opens up a huge security risk. Do you have any idea when the Lone Wolf ISP will re-propagate the certificates?

Thanks everyone, we have an announcement on the forums right now regarding this issue. While we're working to resolve these issues, you may find that our sales sites and update mechanisms are unavailable. We'll update everyone via the announcement when things are back up and running. Thank you for your patience.
