I have a 6th level Ranger/9th level Fighter with Boon Companion (Seeker) and Feat: Sable Company Marine (web enhancement.)
The feat says it requires Ranger 6th, which I am.
When I take the Hippogriff on the Minion, it says it requires Druid.
Edit: Nevermind, it comes in two parts. An Alternate Class option is required first.
Edit 2: If you have the Boon Companion feat when you click the Animal Companion button that creates the companion, it errors with 4 errors (but otherwise appears to work):
