I had this issue a while back and while waiting for them (support to fix it, which they did) I had to 'sneakernet' from my desktop to my laptop and back.

I went into tools and did a backup, copied that over to my Dropbox account and then did a restore on my laptop.

This is NOT recommended! But you have to do what you have to do, right?
