Running two or more RW instances via virtualization is technically possible. I have done it few times to experiment with my GM setup. You just need to ensure only one of those actually connects to the servers and any change you must do you make it on single one and the rest sync from the cloud. Useful during play, but cumbersome due to the requirements of the virtualization.
I still prefer to have implementation of pop-up windows... but well.
The past is a rudder to guide us, not an anchor to hold us back.
