I am once again away from my computer, but I'd say check the Tags file and see if there is a Weapon.Thrown and if it has "Weapon can be Thrown" as its text.

^_^ There's a fair amount of overlap since Savage Worlds has Authoring Kit files, but they will likely be more intimately familiar with it.
