I vaguely remember that there was no perfect way to fix the minion hit points.
I do know that if you add a companion through the minion method you can reach into the minion with calls like:
minion.childfound[[tBonusHP].value += 2
So, you just need to figure out which fields you want to touch.
I also vaguely remember that any scripts that touch hit point maximums don't always work, or are touchy, etc... , you have to tweak the hit points manually most of the time.
There might be some examples in the UA Ranger file in the community.
