After every game, I spent some time updating RW with the things that the characters asked that hadn't occurred to me to put in before the game started.
And I also had a section in the Realm that listed in just a few words what happened in each gaming session so that we could spent five minutes (as opposed to half an hour or more) just getting to the same sheet on the history of the campaign.
I don't bother so much with this in games which are supposed to take only a couple of sessions, but the Call of Cthulhu campaign "Horror on the Orient Express" is looking down at me in all its eldritch glory and when I start to run that monster campaign, good notes are going to be paramount.
