People have been asking for regular updates forever. It doesn't seem to stick. We get one update, and then nothing until either the rabble rouses loud enough or there is some major release.
With a community relations staff assigned, you'd think that even a weekly update would be feasible, even if it's "Here's where we're at even though it's not much different than last week".
At the very least monthly would be a big improvement.
