As pointed out previously, with lifetime top-tier cloud access stated as a kickstarter exclusive, if they did offer it again I think you would have a few backers upset if it was offered at a lower price point than offered during the kickstarter campaign.
Having begged & borrowed to get myself to the $250 tier for that sole purpose, I would not be happy if they offered the same package at a reduced price from what I have already invested.
Exclusivity is one thing (that I don't personally have a problem with breaking), but price is an entirely different matter.
FWIW - I think once you get to play with the software you will see that $250-$300 will be money well spent
