"Plugin API" and "Web Client" don't go well together.
Also, people who aren't logged in to Facebook (and, IIRC, aren't members of that group) will not be able to see the thread to which you linked. For those who can't see it, he's adding a dotted path to a map. Drawing tools have been requested in at least a couple of threads.
