I'm well aware that 5th edition games are being run at Origins next weekend (2013, no less). Sadly, I'll be unable to attend, first time since '05 -- but even so, I am under the impression that 2050 relies on 4th Ed rules.

think this was confirmed on the Shadowrun website, that 2050 is still planned.
