Google has released v3 of the Android platform which is specifically built for Tablets (2.3 and other versions were largely meant for phones). Combined with Windows 7 Mobile tablets & the iPad2, there's going to be a lot more demand as the next six months bombards us with these devices.
As I am waiting for those devices to all come out and drive prices down, I have no opinion on platform at the moment.
That said, having Hero Lab available on any tablet platform would definately be a selling point for it to me.
