Ok so I had an idea for a weapon focus Nemisis Arms Maul that added a Knock Out spell when I hit an opponent. I wanted to use a contact trigger for my trigger, but my GM said that anytime I activate the spell I would get hit with the spell first? Would I be able to get my desired effect by using some other trigger method?
