You are probably right,
kbs666, adding many different icons wouldn't be expedient for LW. But at adding at least a few would help me (and probably others), since it would allow me to focus on the actual worldbuilding instead of searching for and integrating them on my own.
And, while we are at it, regarding map pins
and links in general, a feature request resurfaced in another thread. Finding it useful I take the liberty to copy it over:
