If you are going to Gen-Con I will be there and I always bring my Laptop so I can show you the 4E package if you like. The idea of only doing 1 month of DDI is a great one that people in my group do from time to time, of course they wait for me to let them know if the DDI & HL are working befor they do it. Most of my group only does 1 month a year to up date.
Programing the info is a HUGE task and would take a lot of time, but its not bad. Plus you have the Authoring Kit and Savage worlds with the purchase so that is a bonus
