Pathfinder Bug Reports - Version 4.4

In the errata, they addressed the shark animal companions, and specifically said they have low-light vision (but of course they didn't address the Bestiary sharks). That makes me think this is more likely to be an omission in the Bestiary than an intentional change from the Type.

Well that is interesting. And I agree with you after looking at the Errata.

I'm afraid I can't duplicate this error. I added a level of Oracle, the Mystery of Lore, and Sidestep secret to a blank character. As I change the character's DEX, the AC does not change, but as I change CHA, the AC does change.

Interesting. I reloaded the character and now it works just fine. On the print copy I made when I reported this, it is wrong. Thanks for checking!

Duelist's 'Improved Reaction' adds +2 at 2nd level and an additional +4 to initiative at 8th level (totaling +6). It should just be a total of +4. (+2 at 2nd level, +2 more at 8th level).

Fixed in the next update, thanks for the report.

Under the GEAR section, when you choose Artisan Tools to, it stacks the number, thus not allowing multiple craft skills to "use" different tool sets for the different craft skills.

On the gear button (the one that looks like a bag), you can split the stack. I'll change the default stacking behavior for the next update. Thanks for pointing this out.

The spell Saving Finale from the APG is a bard spell and not a wizard spell. The wizard spell Identify now has a shorter casting duration and gives a bonus to a skill. It is currently listed as 1 hour casting time and no mention of the spellcraft bonus. Thanks!

Hello,

It seems the Rage Power "Spirit Totem, Lesser" displays incorrect damage. The APG has it at 1d4+CHA Mod. The description in Herolab states d4 but the entry in the "Special" and the "Barbarian" tab displays d6.

I couldn't find an APG errata that changed the damage or any reply here informing you folks of the error.

Cheers!

Eidolons levels

The Advanced Player Guide says that the Eidolon's levels is equal to the Summoners. Mine didn't add the level when I reached 4th level so I tested it with a new character and discovered that every 4th level (4, 8, 12 so on) the Eidolon drops a level. This is not correct, right?

Thanks Dan

APG page 59, table 2-9; the Eidolon's gains 3 HD / 4 summoner levels. Class Level is not the same thing as Hit Dice.

As well as Saving Finale, Unwitting Ally is also mislabeled as a Wizard spell when it should be Bard only. In addition Tengu could use proficiency with the new swords from the APG.

After the last update, a +1 Keen Sawtooth Sabre that had been working correctly now displays the validation error "Requires a piercing or slashing weapon."

You're character is a 5th level fighter - at that level, Armor Training reduces the armor check penalty by 1 and increases the max dex by 1. Since it's magical (and therefore masterwork), that decreases the armor check penalty by another 1.

There must be something else that's being applied here - when I add +1 chainmail to a 5th level fighter (with nothing else on that character), I get a -3 armor check penalty and slowing.

What feats do you have? What traits do you have? What other magic items do you have? What race is this character?
