? I lived in London for a few years back in the late 90's. Adjusting for inflation the 25k GBP I made then has to be much closer to 50k than 35. Even then I had a hard time finding an apartment and wound up living out in Slough and taking the train into the city every day, and that is why I came back to Chicago I'm not built for suburbia (even English suburbia).
