Data File Authoring
  • Added the Custom.MarVerTarg tag that can be added to a feat to allow Martial Versatility to select it.
  • The Helper.Obsolete tag now functions for Traits, Drawbacks, and Animal Tricks.
  • Added the Helper.HiCastLev tag, which causes a spell like ability to set it's caster level equal to the highest caster level of any casting class the hero has. If the hero has no casting classes, it defaults to 1st.
  • There are now several selection helpers which represent different categories of traits.
  • Added the cvBon3FMod and cvTBonFtNm fields to archetypes, which modify the tertiary bonus feat tables of the linked class.
  • Added the gType.Tomes tag, which sorts after Tools, but before Pets in the gear list.
  • Added the tMagCraDis herofield, which holds a percentage discount for crafting costs when making magic items. Several traits have been set up to take advantage of this field.
  • Added the foctoclass procedure, which can be called from a class special and sets the focus to the class helper associated with that special. This helps when a class special needs to look at the Helper, but can't be sure whether it is being bootstrapped to that directly or through an archetype. Used for various Inquisitor Judgment abilities.
  • Obsoleted the Helper.AdjInfo tag and removed it from the editor. It was a carryover from 3.5 which was not doing anything (all adjustments in Pathfinder show info buttons).
  • Obsoleted the pWhat field and removed it from the editor and any existing adjustments. It was a carryover from 3.5 which was not doing anything (the field was not showing anywhere in Pathfinder's UI).
  • Added the OthAdjCat tag group, which is used for sorting existing "Other adjustments" into ordered subcategories. The order of the tags is fixed, but 18 user tags have been created for defining homebrew adjustment categories. 9 appear before the official list, and 9 appear after.
  • A new editor option is available on any tab that already had a "Not Allowed for Pathfinder Society Characters" - "Allowed for Core Campaign PFS Characters". Normally, anything from a book other than the Core Rulebook, Character Traits Web Enhancement, or Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play is not allowed for Core Campaigns, but there are some exceptions, so those exceptions can get the Helper.CoreCampOK tag to exempt them from the normal rule.
  • The "Minion" category for races has been obsoleted, and all of its contents moved into the "NPC" category, so that it's easier to find a particular arcane familiar - they're now all in a single list, instead of having some sorted in the first list and some in the second.
