If I remember correctly, the -500 error was a general catch all for anything that didn't have a more specific error. You need to contact customer service and let them know what is going on. They may ask you to send in the database from the players computer, in which case you will probably need to copy it to a cloud storage service like drop box and give them a link to it in an e-mail.

I hope you can get it resolved.
