Community Created 3.5 D&D data set....

Cool. Thanks.

So far I've found two multi-classes that work amazingly together. Rogue/Warlock and Psychic Warrior/Psion. In both cases if you use the second class as an augmented for the first it creates a stronger version of the first. So those have kind of become my faves. I think a Rogue/Lurk would also work out great but haven't sat down and done the math.

Will it be a problem that the damage changes as the Warlock level goes up?

Ok, so it appears I've hit a snag. There's no way that I can see to set damage to a weapon at 5d6, 7d6, or 9d6. With that being the case, I don't see a way to implement this fully without help from LW. Sorry. :(

Sendric,

I think the "fix" for this is to add new damage tags. I'm not entirely sure but I believe this might be doable with the configuration file if it is created by hand. I'd ask Mathias or Aaron about it to see for sure though.

Yea, I have no idea how to do that. If it's possible to create our own wMain tags, that would be pretty great. Of course, the current tag structure still confuses me so I would need to be walked through that a bit to understand what I was even doing.

Have you ever read the authoring kit wiki at all? That helped me learn a lot more about hero lab once I popped the hood open and looked under it.

No. Reading instruction manuals (or the ilk) isn't my strong suit. :) Maybe I'll take a gander next week.

Ok, for now, I'm sort of including it in the release, though its not fully functional. Those who want it, will need to do a small amount of editing. In the editor, open the file "3.5 - Complete Arcane.use". Go to tab "Special" and find Eldritch Blast. Add "wEldBlast" as a bootstrap, and either remove the first line of the second script or put a ~ in front of it (the line reads "done". Save and compile. This will give you the weapon with appropriate damage at all levels except those with 5d6, 7d6, and 9d6. At those levels, the damage will be blank.

Edit: Ignore all that. Thanks to ShadowChemosh for pointing out the free-form text field where I can enter any damage dice I want. This weapon is now fully implemented.

This is a massive update that not only includes my work on Tome of Battle but also work from others, including a lot of Forgotten Realms data submitted by TobyFox2002. I'm not going to guarantee no problems, but I downloaded 1.9 to a clean install of HL, then updated it to this release and it compiles without any issues. If you have any problems please do not hesitate to contact me (sendric [at] gmail [dot] com)

HeroLab tells me there is an available update for "Lawful_G_d20 (v1.10)", which is the newest update. When I try to download it, I get the following error message:

"Error downloading file from remote web server. This is probably due to a problem with the web server. Please try again in a little while."

I got this yesterday evening, again this morning. Downloading other files from shadowsoftware.com seems to work fine. Have the files been pulled from the server for some reason (e.g. the FR files clashing)?

The version of the Incantatrix I coded (except for the capstone) is the one from (3.5) Player's Guide to Faerun, not the one from the (3.0) Magic of Faerun. The two are significantly different, in fluff and in many abilities. The Incantatrix I coded should be sourced to PGTF, not MoF.

Alright, thanks. I thought it was MoF. I'll take a look at it and move things to the appropriate source.

Do you have a Mac? I just looked into this and saw the file has a space in it which prevents the mac from downloading.

Whoops. Sorry. Somehow I missed this. The files weren't pulled. I'll fix this right away.

Edit: Should be all set now. Let me know if you still have a problem.

First off I would like to thank Lawful G and the team for these updates. It is wonderful to be able to use 3.5 content with Hero Lab.

I do have a question. I've searched high and low but still to no avail.... Is it possible to add in the class "High Elemental Binder" into the set? Is there a way for me to custom make that character set? I believe it is from the "Players Guide to Eberron", which is different from the campaign setting from my limited understanding.

Apologies if this has been posted/requested before. If so, can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Koragg Darkshadow
