Card Vault uses the standard mechanisms provided within Windows for
downloading files. Specifically, it uses the API provided in the "wininet"
DLL. CV is doing absolutely nothing but basic stuff, since it has to work
smoothly with both the newest and oldest versions of this DLL (from back in
1995).

Do you have any download accelerators installed? If so, that is most likely
the source of the problem. Not all sites work correctly in conjunction with
the accelerators. We've had a couple of reports of users having problems
with downloads due to accelerators. Try disabling the accelerator and
trying the download again. To my knowledge, this has always solved the
problem for others that have had download issues.
