i dont think so Richard... if its being attacked with something magical it negates the morsliebb ward and thus u just get a 5+ ward for magic res, then + 1 for the collar for a total of 4+ against...

In beasts, if you add the Armour of silvered steel, the lord benefits from a 1+ save, the item gives a 2+ save that cannot be modified :)
