Ok so i am playing a an evil campaign and there is a tournament among the wizards in the party to establish rank(basically its a pissing contest my character had no choice but to get involved in)....

Ok so i have been wondering(and don't have a book to look this up) if a DM starts you out with 28 ability points does your Familiar get that as well? In my case my DM made me make a level 13...
